Since its founding in 1906, the azbil Group has been pursuing measurement and control technologies and contributing to the development of buildings and industries. On the occasion of our 100th anniversary in 2006, we formulated our Group philosophy of “realize safety, comfort and fulfillment in people’s lives and contributing to global environmental preservation through human-centered automation,” a philosophy which indicates the new direction we will develop our businesses. We also created a Group symbol, azbil (Automation – Zone – Builder), to represent this new philosophy.

Now that three years have passed, the azbil brand is steadily spreading among customers and those outside the company. Moreover, it is consistently spreading throughout the Group, as employees increasingly make judgments and take actions based on the philosophy in various business scenes.
The “human-centered automation” that azbil advocates means automation for “creating satisfaction for people” rather than “controlling machines,” and challenges remain to realize this aim.
As the azbil Group, by further enhancing and accelerating both collaboration and synergy and providing our solutions capabilities more than ever, we will fulfill the expectations of society and our customers.
