• When renovating, we would like to install a central AC system if possible.
  With experience living in the west, followed by visits to local friends, Mr. and Mrs. SI had come to learn the benefits of central AC, a common feature in the United States. However, the system was not common in Japan when the home was built 10 years ago.
• We’d like proper heating and cooling in the spacious living room as well as comfort in the kitchen.
  Mr. and Mrs. SI sought comfort in a spacious room and in the kitchen where a room AC could not reach entirely.
• We’d like to minimize the effect on the interior as much as possible.
  Mr. and Mrs. SI wished to avoid bumpy ceilings and protruding walls as much as possible. They did not want to spoil the atmosphere that he had gone to pains to create when the home was first built.

Ducts were installed after lowering some areas around the vaulted ceiling. Indirect lighting was also installed at this time. The result was extreme comfort even in the spacious living room where a room AC was not able to cool and heat sufficiently, along with indirect lighting that provides an air of stylishness in the space.

The kitchen, where air conditioners had difficulty reaching, also turned into a place of comfort. Vents were set up without lowering the ceiling. The interior was kept as is, without protruding room AC and messy wiring. Now, the space can be heated and cooled in every corner.

Thanks to the opportunity to talk directly with the experts of manufacturers, we were able to bring to life my image without compromise. Now, we can enjoy comfortable temperature in every corner of my house, and we do not have to endure chilliness after a bath or worry about heat shocks. Our dream of living in a central air-conditioned home has come true and we are extremely satisfied. Until now, we paid more than 20,000 yen a month in electric bills for five air conditioners and this has been cut to about 5,000 yen a month since installing “Kikubari.” Running cost is apparently low and economic. We only regret that I didn’t install central air-conditioning earlier.
