Having set “human-centered automation” as a guidepost for the azbil Group's advancement, our aim is to be a corporate group that helps to solve customers' problems.

Since our establishment in 1906, we have focused on measurement and control technology, delivering unique solutions to our customers. At our 100th anniversary in 2006 we adopted, as a new direction for business development in the next century, the Group philosophy of realizing safety, comfort and fulfillment in people's lives and contributing to global environmental preservation through human-centered automation; and we established the Group symbol “azbil” to share this philosophy. About five years later, in April 2012, we changed our company name to Azbil Corporation, and at the same time renamed the group companies in Japan to include “azbil”. With these changes, we have been striving under the “azbil” name to expand our business both inside and outside of Japan.

To continuously provide value to customers in a dramatically changing business environment, we have decided upon the following three basic objectives as we strive to transform our businesses and operations. 1. Be a long-term partner for both the customer and the community in our three business areas (Building Automation business, Advanced Automation business, and Life Automation business), using our technology and products to provide solutions through the pursuit of human-centered automation. 2. Further our growth worldwide by expanding into new areas and making qualitative changes. 3. Strengthen our organization and be an organization that never stops learning, in order to more fully achieve the first two objectives.

In the future too, by pressing forward together as a unified Group, we will create new value on work sites together with our customers, with the goal of helping them to meet the wide variety of the challenges that they face.
