Maintenance free The Live Load structure that is employed by this system uses spring power to always apply appropriate fastening power to the gland packing. This prevents from strain release of the packing, which may cause fluid leakage. In addition, the gland packing used does not require grease, which eliminates the need for regular grease-up tasks. . Visible torque control of the gland When the gland nut is tightened, an appropriate spring pressure amount can be set by referring to the mark placed on the spring cover.
