Multivariable model predictive controller

SORTiA-MPC consists of offline design tools, offline modules, and a standard operation display.

Offline design tool

Model identification tool

Model identification tool
This is a tool for modeling. Models can be constructed to be used in controllers based on step test data.

Simulation tool

Simulation tool
This is a tool for running simulations using the same model and virtual plant that are used in an online module. It is mainly used to determine the initial values for tuning and to analyze controller behavior.

Configuration tool
This is a tool to improve the efficiency of engineering by, for example, creating a configuration file for automatically creating the tag of the online module.

Online module tool

Control/optimization engine
This is an engine for optimization control calculations.

Input/output check module
This module is equipped with a function for conducting input validity checks for CV upper/lower limit abnormalities, change rate abnormalities, freeze errors, etc., as well as a filter function and an MV output check function.

Standard run operation screen

This screen has a slider to adjust control intensity. This makes it possible to make adjustments in a clear way, and it can also be used as a performance guide.

It is possible to redisplay the process data and tuning information at a specified time in the past. This function allows you to effectively use such data for behavior analysis.
