Number of organizations we support through social contribution activities

Guided by our philosophy of “human-centered automation,” the azbil Group aims to make contributions that lead “in series” to a sustainable society. We view social contribution activities as an integral part of the corporate culture and climate necessary for maximizing corporate value. We have been promoting employee participation in such activities, via both social contributions through our core business and voluntary social contributions, in order to make them part of our corporate culture. One of these activities is the azbil Honeybee Club, which was established in October 2009. The azbil Honeybee Club is a voluntary organization independent of the company, and any employee or executive of the azbil Group in Japan can participate. The organization uses monthly donations, starting from 100 yen, to provide support once a year to activities and organizations recommended and selected by its members.

For fiscal 2024, 57 organizations were chosen to receive support from among the many nominations from the members of the azbil Honeybee Club. We support activities across a wide range of fields, including social welfare, artistic activities and preservation of traditional culture, community exchange, health and medicine, sports, and the environment. The total amount of support funds reached 8.5 million yen, made up of 5.55 million yen contributed by the club and an additional 2.95 million yen provided by Azbil Corporation as a matching gift^*1 to support employees’ social contribution activities. Going forward, the azbil Group will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a member of society while encouraging employee participation in social contribution activities.
