Azbil’s Control Valve Maintenance Support System Receives Award from Chinese Automation and Smart Manufacturing Media Company gongkong®
TOKYO, Dec. 9, 2020: Azbil Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange code: 6845) announced that its control valve maintenance support system won a User Award for Industrial Control Software at the “18th China Automation and Intelligence Annual Selection” sponsored by the Chinese industrial media firm gongkong®.
gongkong® is a media company specializing in the Chinese manufacturing industry. It operates online information sites focusing on control, automation, and smart manufacturing, and publishes market research reports. The China Automation and Intelligence Annual Selection has been held every year by gongkong® since 2002 to acknowledge innovative products, best practices, and people who have made outstanding contributions to industry. In this 18th year of the awards, in addition to market research and analysis and expert evaluation, voting by users was factored into the selection.
Azbil's control valve maintenance support system collects information on control valve operation in order to streamline maintenance work. The User Award for Industrial Control Software was won in the Controller Category of the Innovative Automation Product Award. The system received high praise from users, with evaluations such as “innovative technology,” “practical,” “reliable quality,” and “good price-performance ratio,” and was the only industrial control software to receive a User Award.
