Azbil Recognized as CDP Supplier Engagement Leader for the Fifth Consecutive Year
Azbil Corporation has been named a Supplier Engagement Leader, the highest rating in the Supplier Engagement Assessment conducted by CDP*, a global non-profit organization that operates an environmental disclosure system. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Azbil Corporation has received this recognition.
The Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates how companies engage with their suppliers to address climate change-related issues. Companies responding to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire are evaluated in five key areas: governance and business strategy, targets, Scope 3 emissions, risk management processes, and supplier engagement. Companies achieving the highest rating are named CDP Supplier Engagement Leaders.
The azbil Group strives to reduce GHG emissions at customers’ sites through its business activities while also promoting initiatives based on a reduction target for GHG emissions across the entire supply chain (Scope 3), as well as strengthening ongoing engagement with suppliers. These efforts led to this recognition.
Guided by its Purpose, “Expanding Technological Frontiers Unlocking Human Potential,” the azbil Group will continue to practice sustainability management and contribute to the achievement of a sustainable society.
