Takayuki Yokota has successively served as the head of Group Management Headquarters and the head of International Business Headquarters of the Company. He assumed the post of director in 2018 and has been responsible for overall corporate administrative functions, and he has worked on risk management, corporate governance, CSR initiatives, management with awareness of capital efficiency as well as appropriate compliance in accounting. Moreover, he is making use of his experience of global business and IR activities, gained at a financial institution, to improve the structure of overseas subsidiaries as well as develop a global management foundation for business growth. Also, as the chief officer in charge of Corporate Communications, he is actively promoting measures such as constructive communication with stakeholders.
Moreover, he assumed the post of representative corporate executive following the Company’s transition to a company with a three-committee board structure, and has been serving as a deputy president, overseeing overall corporate administrative functions, including sustainability. In addition, as a person who is responsible for promoting the Life Automation business, he has contributed to the enhancement of enterprise value by promoting the restructuring of the business portfolio to achieve further growth and even stronger financial standing, as well as implementing shareholder return measures.
