Method of Estimating CO2 Reduction by optimal control of processes in manufacturing facilities

The amount of CO2 reduction achieved by introducing optimum process control at production sites was estimated in the following way.

1. The amount of CO2 emissions reduction in 2022 resulting from Azbil Corporation's products that were sold from 2012 to 2021 was estimated.

* For facilities which have received Azbil’s maintenance (etc.) services, where continuing use is known, products sold in or before 2012 are also included in the estimate.



2. The amount of CO2 reduction if no azbil Group products or solutions were used at our customers’ sites was estimated.
3. CO2 reduction data provided by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry was used.
4. The energy consumption reduction rate was estimated from an estimate of the reduction achieved by the various supply systems.
