Contributions Through Employee Participation

At Azbil, each employee actively participates in initiatives aimed at addressing social issues in their local communities.

Community Contribution Activities Through Employee Participation

  1. Educational Support for Elementary Schools

As part of our community contribution efforts, the azbil Group has been providing educational support to local elementary schools. Since FY2022, we have organized energy-saving tours for third-grade students of an elementary school  near the new building of the Fujisawa Technology Center research and development base.
Each year, azbil Group employees serve as guest lecturers for approximately 150 students. They introduce initiatives we engage in that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These activities not only promote environmental awareness but also foster meaningful interaction with the children, who respond by sharing essays that reflect their learning experiences.

  2. Career Education Support for Junior High School Students

Since FY2023, the Fujisawa Technology Center has been hosting career experience programs for third-year junior high school students in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Each year, students from Tohrei Gakuen  Fujisawa Junior High School are invited to the Fujisawa Technology Center to participate in hands-on learning related to measurement and control development work.
As Azbil’s core research and development hub, the Fujisawa Technology Center offers students the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges through development tasks. These programs are designed to help students experience both the excitement and the complexity of manufacturing and innovation.

  3. Employee Participation in Community Cleaning Activities

With the aim of contributing to environmental preservation, each azbil Group business site voluntarily participates in clean-up activities in their respective local areas, including nearby coasts, rivers, mountains, and the surroundings of buildings
