Review of fiscal year 2024
In fiscal 2024, 49 work-related accidents occurred, showing an increasing trend compared to the previous fiscal year. Of these, five accidents resulted in lost work days. By type of accident, 70% of all accidents were caused by falling, crashing, contact with objects of high or low temperature, or being cut. While serious accidents caused by falls and crashes were noticeable, the increase accidents of heat stroke caused by sales staff and staff members also posed a major challenge.

Measures to achieve FY 2025 goals
Based on the mid-term plan starting this fiscal year, we will work on the following to prevent occupational accidents.

  • We will further strengthen the risk prediction and risk assessment activities and continue to prevent accidents caused by falling, crashing, cutting and rubbing.
  • We will incorporate case studies with data transformation approach and will incorporate psychological approach.

We will also strengthen cooperation with subsidiaries and establish a global safety and health management system.
We will work as a team to raise safety awareness with the aim of achieving zero accidents by fiscal 2030.
