Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) Initiatives

To ensure the safety of all employees and to maintain and improve their health, in Oct. 2011 we introduced the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). Operation continued uninterrupted in 2019 when the standard for the OHSMS changed from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001. In fiscal year 2023, we had 42 ISO 45001–certified business sites.(39.6%)

- OHSAS 18001 is an international OHSMS standard (superseded in 3/2021 by ISO)

- ISO 45001 is an international OHSMS standard.
